Each body is molded with integral body mounting tabs to fit most Tomy SG+ or Turbo/SRT chassis as well as vintage Aurora A/FX and G+Plus chassis and Johnny Lightning/Auto World X-Traction reproductions.

By the early 90's most Formula 1 cars were being designed in wind tunnels, and all the manufacturers' cars began to look very similar. This body kit can be painted and decorated to look like any number of F1 cars including the McLaren, Ferrari and Williams cars of the era.

Are you looking for a great set of custom wheels to dress up your slot car? I now offer custom machined Delrin 3-piece wheel sets. These precision CNC-machined wheels are perfect for any slot car.

Each wheel is made up of three parts; a black Delrin hub, aluminum trim ring and your choice of resin wheel inserts. Wheel sets include both front and rear wheel assemblies and can be fitted to any HO slot car including the Aurora A/FX and G+Plus chassis, any Tomy or Auto World/Johnny Lightning X-Traction chassis.

These high-performance wheel sets are designed with racing in mind while still giving your car a custom look as well.

The photograph above shows the 3-piece wheel set with Halibrand inserts installed on a Tomy SRT Shelby Daytona Coupe. These Halibrand wheel sets are also correct for Tomy's new Ford GT40 models.

Standard Tomy front and rear tires are used, but BSRT Black Silicones or AJ's Black Panthers can also be fitted for better traction.

On the right are front and rear wheel sets with the aluminum rim installed on the Delrin hub.

Resin wheel inserts can be painted and then pressed into the opening at the front of each wheel.

Vintage Halibrand and BRM 6-Spoke wheel inserts are currently available, with more wheel styles to follow shortly, including Lola 4-Spoke and Steel Wire wheels.

The drawings below provide all of the dimensions you'll need for both front and rear wheel assemblies.

Front wheels can be fitted with stock Tomy SG+ or Turbo/SRT front rubber tires, as well as Tyco, Life-Like and Aurora G+Plus tires. Front wheels are designed to easily press on to any standard 0.475 axle. A wheel press is not required.

The rear shoulders of the front wheel hubs can also be trimmed to fit narrower body styles.

Rear hubs can be fitted with stock Tomy Turbo/SRT rear rubber tires, or for improved performance use BSRT Black Silicone or AJ's Black Panther slip-on silicones.

Halibrand wheels were often used on Ford GT40 factory team cars, Cobra Roadsters and Daytona Coupes. Halibrand wheels were cast using magnesium which provided a strong but light-weight wheel.

BRM wheels appeared on many Ford GT40 and Lola T70 race cars along with many other sportscars and CanAm race cars during the 1960's and 1970's.

Wire wheels have been used on a variety of sportscars and road cars throughout the 1950's and 1960's. Many sportscar manufactured in the late 1970's offered wire wheels as an option.
